"The Coochie Dreams" series.
A series of short sound collages constructed from improvised jams on the Korg Monotribe processed through various effects pedals, and mixed with live field recordings made on Coochiemudlo Island. Vision was captured on the island at the same time.
Filmed and recorded on Coochiemudlo Island, Victoria Point, Queensland, Australia, Winter 2020. With respectful acknowledgement to the traditional owners of this land - the Quandamooka People from the coastal areas where this film was shot, and to the Gabi Gabi and Jiniburrah peoples where we now reside, and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders and their Elders, past, present and emerging.
